Sealed proposals will be received by Bridgewater Township, 2nd class of Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, at 12751 State Route 29 PO Box 297, Montrose, PA 18801-0291 until 1:00 PM on March 29, 2019 for the following:
ALL stone must be State Approved and free of any soil. Delivery will be to site designated by the Township.
Supplier must be within 25 mile radius of the Bridgewater Township Municipal Building
Bid prices will be quoted by the ton two ways:
Successful aggregate bidder will guarantee delivery within 24 hours of request from the Township and will use a minimum of 6 trucks for entire day 7:30 am to 3pm for the duration of a given job when adding material to road. Down time or idle time due to lack of hauling trucks in excess of one hour will result in a deduction of monies in the payment to the contractor in the amount of $250/hour
ALL proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality which can be obtained at Bridgewater Township Municipal Building. Secretary regular hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm or by calling Bridgewater Township at 570-278-1373. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Municipality must accompany the bid. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. All bids must be submitted in an envelope clearly marked aggregate or cinders.
Bids will be opened and read aloud on March 29, 2019 at 2:00 and awarded on April 1, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors. Township meeting to be held at the Bridgewater Township Municipal Building at 7:00 PM.
